Rheumatology and Immunology at the Biel Hospital Center offers comprehensive assessment and treatment of the entire spectrum of rheumatological diseases. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory-immunological systemic diseases such as vasculitis, conjunctivitis or autoinflammatory diseases as well as inflammatory joint diseases.
Specializations
Rheumatology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and internal organs. The collective term “rheumatism” covers over 200 inflammatory and non-inflammatory diseases that affect organs such as the joints, lungs, blood vessels, heart, eyes, skin and muscles.
Our Focus
For the assessment and treatment of patients, our rheumatologists attach great importance to close interdisciplinary cooperation with the other medical departments of the Biel Hospital Center, as well as with specialists and, in particular, general practitioners in the region.
